Hosting and Backend Infrastructure
This type of service has the purpose of hosting Data and files that enable the Service to run and be distributed as well as to provide a ready-made infrastructure to run specific features or parts of the Service. We want our website to provide the smoothest possible experience for our users and so use Cloudflare to optimise website performance by using the servers most local to our user to load the pages and their content. To do this we need to know where you are and so collect your computer’s IP address for geo-location. It is in our legitimate interest to ensure our website works as well as possible for you, for which the collection and processing of your IP address is necessary. The data is buffered, accesses are logged. Hereby, the nearest data center is regularly used. CloudFlare also operates data centers outside the European Union! According to CloudFlare, the cached data are basically deleted within 4 hours, but at the latest after three days. For more information, see CloudFlare’s Privacy Statement at: https://www.cloudflare.com/security-policy/
